TWINS DISCOVER A FORBIDDEN LOVE. When Gavin and Bain Murphy go off to film school, they soon learn that their feelings run deeper than just brotherly affection. Book 1 of Maris Black’s Dark Duet.
I’m in love with my twin brother.
That intrigues you, doesn’t it?
I know it does, because we’re all dark animals, equally capable of taking pleasure in the perverse. It only takes the right set of circumstances to bring it out.
In my case, it began in the womb, when nature decided to tether me to my soulmate. I guess our shared DNA is the reason we both love movies, and why we’re both studying to be filmmakers. It’s also the reason we’re both borderline antisocial, and we don’t exactly fit in with our classmates in film school. I don’t need friends, though. As long as my brother is alive, there is always someone who gets me.
But you don’t care about all of that, do you? What you really want to know is if he’s in love with me, too. And if we do dirty things to each other when no one is looking.

Once you complete your Paypal transaction, you should automatically be redirected to a download link. You will also receive an email receipt for your transaction from marisblack.com. The download link is included in this email. Click on the link and save the file, then follow the steps below to email it to your device. (Note: if you don’t see your email receipt in your inbox, check your spam or trash folders).
Install on your Kindle:
Email the downloaded “.mobi” file as an attachment to the email address associated with your Kindle, located in the “Settings” tab on your Kindle device under “Personal Documents.” It’ll be in the form [something] @ kindle.com.
Your Kindle email can also be found on your Amazon account on the Manage Your Content & Devices page under the “Your Devices” tab. Select a Kindle device, and beneath it the page lists the email address associated with that Kindle.
There’s one more optional step: authorizing the sender.
(Note: The email address associated with your Amazon account is automatically authorized, so if you are sending from this account, you can skip the following step).
How to authorize a new email address to send files to your Kindle:
Click on the Settings tab and scroll down to “Approved Personal Document E-mail List.”
You must send your document from one of these email addresses in order for it to be accepted. If the address you want to use isn’t listed, you can add it.
The email message Subject and Body are optional, and completely ignored. All that matters is the “.mobi” file attached.
Once you send the .mobi file to your Kindle, two things should happen:
Note that either or both of these can take a little time before they appear, and before they appear across all your devices. And of course your Kindle must be online in order to receive the download.
